The much-anticipated Wicked: For Good is set to enchant audiences in cinemas from November 21, with the final trailer now released and already sparking a buzz as ‘electrifying’.

This concluding instalment sees Elphaba, portrayed by Cynthia Erivo, and Glinda, played by Ariana Grande, grappling with the fallout of their past decisions.

The three-minute preview offers a glimpse of Ariana Grande’s transformation into the beloved Glinda the Good Witch under Madame Morrible’s tutelage, played by Michelle Yeoh.

Romance blooms on screen between Glinda and Fiyero, Jonathan Bailey’s character, while Elphaba, brought to life by Cynthia Erivo, embarks on a quest to unveil the Wizard’s deceit, played by Jeff Goldblum.

The YouTube comment section for the trailer was abuzz with reactions, with @majozinha admitting: « I’m not OK. »

@rufarojunior shared their apprehension, stating: « I’m so not ready for what I’m going to experience. »

@lissie8602 couldn’t contain their excitement, exclaiming: « Oh my god I’m so excited, bring on November, that will soon come round quick and please release the songs I also have goosebumps I’m so ready. »

@oscarjuliangonzalezcarreno2525 anticipated: « I cannot wait to see the performance of For Good on the big screen. »

They predicted: « It is going to be the most iconic moment of the movie as in the first one it was Defying Gravity. »

@ACinemafanatic predicted an emotional response: « Cynthia is gonna make me cry again. »

Tensions rise as Elphaba confronts Glinda, accusing her of having « no real power ».

Glinda, feeling the pressure of her public persona, tries to maintain a positive front, but Elphaba confronts her about her dishonesty.

The trailer treats fans to a tantalising taste of Erivo’s powerful performance in No Good Deed.

In a nostalgic nod to the original film, the latter part of the preview reveals Dorothy Gale’s house soaring through the sky.

When the Wizard demands proof of the Wicked Witch’s demise from Dorothy, Glinda realises the situation has escalated dangerously, but it may already be too late.

Reconciling their differences, Glinda and Elphaba devise a strategy to thwart the Wizard’s manipulative plans.

The trailer reaches an emotional crescendo with Grande and Erivo’s heartrending duet in For Good, leaving viewers eagerly anticipating the full performance.
