The world’s second-richest billionaire, according to his 60-second earnings, even surpassed the riches of Elon Musk in September this year. A study found he earned more than $300,000 per minute, after comparing the net worth differences of the super-rich from April to November this year.

After comparing the Forbes 2025 Billionaires List on April 1 with their net worth from the Forbes Real-Time Billionaires Tracker on November 10, the Sweepstakes Table study revealed one of Donald Trump’s acquaintances came second. Oracle founder, Larry Ellison, ranked second with a staggering per-minute earning of $317,510 on average, and a daily earnings of $457.21 million.

The 80-year-old tech pioneer saw his net worth surge from $192 billion to $293.5 billion, gaining $101.5 billion during the tracking period.

In September 2025, Larry Ellison beat Elon Musk and became the richest person in the world after his net worth surged to $393 billion, due to confidence in cloud infrastructure after OpenAI committed to $300 billion with Oracle over five years.

A stock surge boosted his wealth by an eye watering $101 billion in a single day, however, according to a report in CNBC, the value of Oracle dropped by almost one-third (30%) in the two months after, completely erasing the stock gains from September.

The American businessman and entrepreneur co-founded the software company Oracle Corporation, which provides cloud applications and infrastructure.

Elon Musk topped the list at an average of $438,560 per minute, primarily from his ownership stakes in Tesla and SpaceX.

Tech industry billionaires occupied seven of the top ten spots, with Google founders and Amazon’s Jeff Bezos demonstrating how digital platforms drive unprecedented wealth.
