Tesco and Lidl have issued a food recall notice for two popular items. All those who have purchased the Snaktastic Multigrain Bites Sour Cream & Black Pepper from budget retailer Lidl are advised to return the item, while those who have purchased Tesco Special Fried Rice should be wary of undeclared allergens.

Both supermarkets and the Food Standards Agency have posted recall notices for these items, warning shoppers to return them to the store or dispose of them as they pose a health risk. While Tesco’s fried rice may only pose a risk to those with an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten, or to coeliacs, the FSA has warned that Snaktastic Multigrain Bites pose a choking risk to all shoppers.
