The 2026 fixture proved no exception, with several major forthcoming titles receiving their debut teasers during the prestigious sporting occasion. There were some notable omissions, with Pixar’s Toy Story 5 missing out on a coveted slot to attract potential viewers.
TikTok users also circulated speculation that a secret instalment of Stranger Things season five would drop during the Super Bowl, though this naturally proved unfounded.

Project Hail Mary is a sci-fi adventure picture adapted from Andy Weir’s 2021 novel, starring Ryan Gosling – who also serves as producer – as Dr Ryland Grace, an astronaut tasked with saving mankind.
Ryland awakens aboard an interstellar vessel with no recollection of his arrival. Amazon MGM Studios will release the film on March 20, 2026.
The most recent trailer shows Gosling’s character encountering an enigmatic being he dubs Rocky, who will assist him in his quest to protect Earth.

Hoppers is a Pixar animated sci-fi comedy which centres on an animal enthusiast whose consciousness is placed into a realistic robotic beaver, enabling her to interact with creatures and protect their environment from harm.
Hoppers is set to debut in cinemas on 6 March 2026, and the plot revolves around a team of scientists who devise a method to « hop » human consciousness into realistic robotic animal forms.
Piper Curda takes on the role of Mabel and in the most recent trailer, she is depicted going rogue as she infiltrates the animal kingdom as a beaver, much to the dismay of her biology professor Dr Sam (Kathy Najimy).

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, based on the video game bearing the same title, serves as a sequel to the 2023 Super Mario Bros Movie.
Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key, and Kevin Michael Richardson return to their roles from the initial film, with Benny Safdie and Brie Larson joining the ensemble.
