The Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Dubrow has shared two budget beauty products she uses to stay looking young.

The 56-year-old US star, who is the wife of a leading plastic surgeon has revealed the two cheap beauty products she uses to maintain a youthful complexion, advising others to « forget » expensive eye creams that can cost hundreds.

Many people strive to look and feel their best, with some opting for costly products and others resorting to Botox, fillers or surgery.

Social media is teeming with advice from both beginners and experts, all eager to share their knowledge and experience.

Heather is married to esteemed plastic surgeon Terry Dubrow. The couple wed in 1999 and live in the prosperous area of Orange County, California, as well as Los Angeles, California.

Recently, Heather sparked interest by sharing her non-surgical and budget-friendly approach to skincare.

She attended BravoCon 2025 – an event where reality stars and celebrities mingle with fans for panels, reunions and more – where she participated in a discussion titled ‘Bougie, Not Basic’.

Addressing the audience with her beauty product recommendations, she said: « I’m gonna give you my two cheap tips. Wet N Wild lip liner, number 666, is ultimately the best lip liner – it looks great on everyone.

« And, go get the big Aquaphor fat stick and put it under your eyes – forget the $200 (£153) eye cream. »

The « fat stick » in question is the Aquaphor Healing Balm Stick, available in the UK through retail platforms like Amazon and iHerb.

Currently retailing at £13.17 on iHerb, this product, which also comes in a baby-friendly version, is designed to « moisturise and soothe dry, chapped skin ».

It boasts ingredients such as avocado oil and shea butter, and is paraben-free.

A video of Heather’s advice was posted on TikTok, overlaid with the text: « Tips from a plastic surgeon’s wife who hasn’t had any procedures done ».

In the comments section, viewers were eager to share their opinions. One person said: « She ain’t lying about Aquaphor healing stick ».

Another confessed: « I love the lip liner 666 and been using it forever ».

A third commented: « Aquaphor does cause milia but she’s right. I’ve used countless eye creams, all budgets, but Aquaphor stick is the best my eyes look! »

While a fourth agreed: « She’s right aquaphor is the GOAT [greatest of all time]. »

Another shared: « no Aquaphor stick was my secret!! It’s soo good ».

However, some expressed concerns about the stick potentially causing milia, small white or yellowish bumps that form just beneath the skin’s surface when dead skin cells get trapped under the top layer.

As always, it’s recommended to perform a patch test before trying new products to ensure they’re compatible with your skin.
