Next’s National Trust ‘great value’ fashion range ‘perfect for spring’

Next has teamed up with the National Trust to bring shoppers a brand new clothing collection – and fashion fans are already calling items in the range ‘a great addition to my spring wardrobe’. Inspired by a rich archive of historic design, the collaboration ‘reimagines British heritage for today’s wardrobe’.

Shoppers can browse everything from warm padded jackets, flowing dresses and elegant blouses – all crafted from in-house-designed prints inspired by historic tapestries. Romantic and charming, the Next x National Trust collection starts from £34 and has been hailed ‘great value’, by one customer.

Just in time for a wardrobe refresh ahead of the new season, the pieces in the range would be perfect to wear to work, or on days off, perhaps strolling around a National Trust site as the weather begins to warm up. We’ve picked out a few of our favourite items from the limited edition collection, with every purchase supporting the charity’s consevation work.

This crochet t-shirt is proving to be the most popular item in the range, so far. It comes in sizes XS to 2XL and in petite or regular for a comfortable fit.

Made from 100% cotton, it’s a breathable option at £34 ideal for transitional weather and the floral crochet design is simply beautiful. Customers have already left feedback with one person saying it’s the ‘perfect length for us ladies who like to cover the tops of their arms’.

Every wardrobe needs a good pair of trousers and this £45 Next pair is a fun update on the timeless essential. With a flattering wide leg sillhouette and a comfortable elasticated back, the trousers tick every box and could be come one of the most hardworking items in any wardrobe.

Made from 55% linen, there is a possibilty that the materical may be prone to creasing, however, they are a lovely lightweight option as we head into the spring and summer.

Bringing boho style back, this volume sleeve blouse is a National Trust upgrade on an existing Next bestseller. Shoppers say the ‘colours are really great’ and call the style ‘something different’.

Retailing for £38, we think it looks ‘beautiful’ paired with dark denim jeans and suede loafers. It would be a great option to take away on a trip somewhere warm as it is made from 40% cotton.
