Morrisons has axed a popular loyalty scheme after 14 years that allowed customers to save for their big Christmas shop.
The supermarket chain ended its Christmas Savers Stamp scheme at the end of 2025, meaning no new stamps will be issued. Shoppers had to be a Morrisons More Card holder to sign up to the savers scheme, which then allowed them to buy digital stamps for £1 each at checkouts throughout the year, and these were then loaded onto a customer’s loyalty account by scanning their More card. Morrisons then added bonus stamps depending on how much customers had saved, with a £1 reward added for saving £49 or more, up to a £6 bonus for saving £197 or more.
The total savings were converted into a voucher, or e-code, that could be spent in stores in November and December. Any Christmas Savers vouchers that weren’t redeemed by December 31, 2025, have now expired and are no longer valid.

The savings scheme was first introduced in 2011 when shoppers could collect physical stamps and it later evolved into a digital scheme in 2022.
It was a popular way for shoppers to save for their big festive food shop at the end of the year, but Morrisons has now confirmed the scheme won’t be returning in 2026.
The supermarket said the move is to allow it to focus on its More Card loyalty scheme instead and bring more personalised offers to shoppers.
Announcing the end of the Christmas Savers scheme, Morrisons said: “After careful consideration, we’ll be ending our Christmas Saver Stamp scheme from the 31st December 2025. This change allows us to focus more on improving your personalised offers and enhancing the overall More Card experience.”
Shoppers had until the deadline of December 31, 2025, to redeem any stamps left on their account and convert their savings into vouchers to redeem in-store.
Morrisons added: “The digital Christmas Savers scheme will not run in 2026. All savings must be redeemed before 31st December 2025.”

Shoppers looking for other ways to save money at Morrisons can do so through the supermarket’s More Card scheme.
Through this loyalty scheme, you can earn five More points on all products when scanning your card in store, online, in selected Morrisons Daily stores and Groceries on Amazon, as well as earning points on every litre of fuel you buy.
Once you’ve reached 5,000 points, you can choose to either keep saving your points or convert them into ‘Fivers’, which are vouchers that can be spent at Morrisons.
But Morrisons More points expire after 12 months and if you haven’t used your More card in store or online for more than a year, all of your points will be removed from your account.
Points that have been exchanged for physical Fivers also expire after 12 months, while digital vouchers expire after just three months.
