A major high street store is giving customers up to £300 ‘free’ to spend in store when buying selected items.
John Lewis is currently offering shoppers the chance to claim a digital gift card worth up to £300 when they purchase qualifying electrical items in stores. The limited time offer is available to both new and existing My John Lewis members and applies to purchases made between now and October 29. John Lewis said the promotion is only available on a selected number of products, which include TVs, cookers, washing machines, cameras, speakers, headphones, hair dryers and stylers, food mixers and blenders, among others.
So if you’ve been planning a new home purchase, or on the hunt for some early Christmas present ideas, you can get a gift card worth between £50 and £300 on top when you buy a qualifying item either in-store or online.
The value of the gift card you receive depends on how much you spend, with only the most expensive items giving you up to £300 in return.
For example, a pair of Bose QuietComfort Ultra noise cancelling headphones priced at £449.95 will give you a £50 gift card, an LG Bluetooth Wi-Fi soundbar priced at £799 will give you a £100 gift card, and a Smeg freestanding fridge freezer priced at £3,839 will give you a £300 gift card.
You must be a My John Lewis member to be eligible for the promotion and make a qualifying purchase by 11.59pm on Wednesday, October 29. Your ‘free’ digital gift card can then be claimed between December 3 and 16.
Only one gift card can be claimed per customer who completes a qualifying purchase and if the product is returned during the 30-day returns period, you will no longer be eligible to claim the gift card.
John Lewis said: “This up to £300 e-gift card redemption promotion is valid for a limited period, starting Wednesday 1st October 2025 and ending Monday 29th October 2025 inclusive. The Promotion applies to any qualifying transaction made within this period.
“To qualify for this Promotion you must be a new or existing My John Lewis member. You must be logged in to your johnlewis.com online account, and have your My JL member number registered to that account.
“To qualify for this Promotion you must purchase a qualifying technology product in one transaction in-store or online, and enter your My John Lewis membership number on the redemption site when claiming your £100 gift card. Only a select number of products are included in the promotion and will be identifiable via their product page online.”
