The Body Shop has unveiled its latest advent calendars and we think the £60 Classic calendar is an excellent choice for those after a bit of pampering. This one features miniature shower gels, body butters and hair products alongside full-sized face masks, lip butters and hand creams.
The 60ml bottles of shower products are ideal for travelling, as they’re compact enough to fit in hand luggage. Indeed, nothing in the calendar exceeds 100ml, making it ideal for lovers of the brand’s smellies who don’t want to be without them on holidays.
The Body Shop says the contents are worth £127.50 if purchased individually, a 53% saving for shoppers.
For anyone with a bigger budget, there is a more expensive Ultimate calendar, retailing at £120, which contains 10 full-size products.
For an alternative option that focuses on self-care, Lush’s advent calendar is among the most coveted. At £205 it certainly commands a premium price point although it features perfume, bath products and even socks.
Boots has also unveiled a £48 Soap and Glory The House Of Glory! advent calendar featuring the brand’s signature fragrances. There are all the classic skincare essentials inside that we’d anticipate and even a candle, reports the Mirror.
Mirror writer Jada Jones has previously tested The Body Shop’s advent calendar and said: « This is a lovely option for people who don’t want a chocolate advent calendar. I’ve tucked the shower gels into my carry-ons and flew through the hand balms. There’s a great range of different scents so there’s something for everyone. I wasn’t crazy about the rose options so I gifted them to friends who were thrilled. »
