Ed Miliband owes Rachel Reeves a big kiss for masking latest blunder | Personal Finance | Finance

No time for niceties when a government is falling apart like this one. As Labour once again proves it's not up to power, the left resorts to what it does best, fighting like cats in a bag. Ministers are all at it. Scrapping to save their careers by blaming everyone but themselves for their cack-handed ineptitude. The Budget brought out the divisions in spectacular style. Chancellor Rachel Reeves delivered it under threat from Labour’s rebellious backbenchers, high on their success in blocking welfare reforms in her last Budget. They've forced her into FOUR humiliating U-turns so far, over the winter fuel payment, welfare reform, income tax and the two-child benefit cap.The two teams writing the Budget, one appointed by No 10 and the other by the Treasury, were also at each other's throat...

Balance Project helps parents give kids independence over devices

FOX Business' Lauren Simonetti reports a parent-led group is aiming to replace children's screen time with interaction in the real world. In an era dominated by screens, more parents are searching for ways to give their kids something they feel has quietly disappeared: freedom, confidence and far less time glued to devices. A fast-growing, parent-led movement is taking hold in communities nationwide, reframing childhood around independence and real-world experiences rather than constant digital stimulation. The Balance Project, a nonprofit, launched just a year ago in Little Silver, New Jersey, and has already expanded to more than 100 communities. Its message is straightforward: technology isn’t the enemy, but childhood shouldn’t revolve around it. "I think our message of balance, ...

U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright says that drop isn’t a coincidence, arguing on FOX Business’ "Kudlow" that "nothing’s better than saving money" at a time when families are struggling with costs."Every week you fill up your gas tank, you got more money in your pocket to buy your kids presents and pay your bills," Wright said. "This is what happens when the American public elects a president ...

Rachel Reeves scrambles to justify Budget ‘lies’ – it’s jaw-dropping | Personal Finance | Finance

This time it’s Tory leader Kemi Badenoch making the charge.
