The festive season is getting closer and retailers are already helping shoppers get prepared with some lovely gifting options. Boots has just dropped a limited-edition Beauty Icons gift and we predict that it will be a sell-out.

Made in collaboration with big-name makeup brand NARS, the Boots X NARS Beauty Icons Gift Set is the first of 16 Beauty Icons Edits which are being released in the run up to Christmas. It is a three-piece makeup bundle (including one full size product) worth £76.44, and it’s available to purchase for £35. Inside the stylish black makeup bag, shoppers can find a selection of NARS bestsellers.

For the same price, shoppers can get their hands on Glow Recipe’s Best of Glow Hues at Cult Beauty. The £35 three-piece set includes a Hue Drops, Dewy Flush and a lip balm.

Refy’s Topaz & Bronzer Collection is perfect for shoppers who want to keep their summer holiday glow into autumn. The £64 set has everything beauty fans need for creating a bronzed, shimmery and glowy look.

Whether it’s for gifting or self-use, shoppers will surely be impressed with Boots x NARS gift. The NARS Afterglow Lip Balm included comes in the flattering Orgasm shade and has received several five-star reviews. This tinted lip balm features Monoï Hydrating Complex for smooth, supple comfort, and is infused with a blend of antioxidants to help protect lips.

NARS’ moisturising formula contains a hint of gold pearls to deliver a flush of colour and radiant finish to lips. One shopper was impressed with their results: « It gives my lips that non-sticky, brilliant shiny glow (but not too much, just the perfect amount of it; and very moisturising too). I don’t know how NARS did it but wow, I don’t think they could make this any better. I don’t even have to reapply much. »

Another added: « Somebody gave me one of these. I loved it so much. I bought another. It’s so creamy and lightweight and just the right amount of sheen. »

Some shoppers said they had to reapply often and due to the price, they preferred to spend on wallet-friendly options instead. One person pointed out other issues, sharing: « I am so disappointed because it’s really pretty and subtle but gives the right amount of color for those ‘no makeup’ days. Just wasn’t made with the right ingredients for my sensitive skin. »

Another much-loved item is The Multiple Blush Stick in shade Orgasm Crave (a peachy pink). It’s a multi-purpose stick for cheeks, lips, and eyes in a transformative « cream-to-powder » texture with a soft-focus finish. Swipe it across cheeks, blend it using fingers or brush it out, it is easy to use and perfect for travelling.

Last but not least, customers will also find the Mini Light Reflecting Pressed Setting Powder. Priced at £20 alone for the mini size, the setting powder optimises light reflection on the skin, creating a soft-focus effect by optically fading fine lines, wrinkles, and pores.
