Mother’s Day lands on March 15 this year, and flowers are arguably the ultimate easy win when it comes to surprising the mum in your life — whether that’s your mum, stepmum, best friend, grandma, auntie or anyone else who deserves a little extra love. With a couple of weeks still to go, now’s the perfect time to start thinking about placing that order, rather than panic-scrolling a few days before when everything’s suddenly sold out.

But don’t stress. There are so many online florists to choose from these days, which is a lifesaver if you’re short on time or can’t make it to a local shop. Of course, you could nip to the supermarket and grab a bunch, but if you live miles away, can’t see her on the day, or you’ve left it slightly last-minute, online flower delivery services are here to save the day. The sheer variety means you can find something that really suits her style, from beautifully curated bouquets to thoughtfully packaged arrangements that arrive looking fresh and fabulous. Best of all, they’ll land right on your mum’s doorstep.

You can even choose letterbox-sized bouquets that slide neatly through the door, meaning there’s no waiting in, no missed deliveries, no awkward redelivery notes.

With so many options out there, it’s easier than ever to pick a bouquet that feels personal.

That said, prices can vary when ordering flowers online, and if you’re after something especially lush and eye-catching, the total can creep up quickly. So I’ve done a little digging through some of the most popular flower delivery services to round up a few of my favourite Mother’s Day 2026 bouquets for £50 or less.

1. Moonpig Flowers

If I’ve ever left it too late to post a birthday card or needed to send a last-minute gift from afar, Moonpig has genuinely been a bit of a saviour. Alongside cards for pretty much every occasion and handy letterbox gifts, Moonpig flowers delivers both letterbox blooms and pre-arranged bouquets across the country.

Yes, it’s not quite the same price as grabbing something from the supermarket, but you’re paying for ease and convenience.

One of the biggest perks is that you can order flowers and a personalised card in one go, which makes it ideal if you want to tick everything off your list at once. There’s a huge variety on offer too, including special bouquets and gift sets (because who wouldn’t love flowers paired with a little treat) created especially for the occasion. If you’re after something longer-lasting, there are also potted plants that will stick around long after a regular bouquet would usually be past its best.

A particularly handy feature on the website is the ability to filter by price, including gifts for £10 or less — think books, socks and candles — which is great if you’re sticking to a budget.

Mother’s Day cards, gifts and flowers can all be ordered in advance and scheduled for delivery on the day itself, so you can get organised early and relax.

Bouquets from the Mother’s Day collection are available for delivery on Mother’s Day, and if you order now, you can use the code EARLYMUM for free delivery. Some bouquets in the collection aren’t available for order until March 9.

And if you do end up cutting it fine, the final cut-off for Mother’s Day delivery is March 13, 2025 (just make sure you order before 9pm to ensure next-day delivery). Realistically, though, it’s a busy time for flower delivery services, so if you want total peace of mind, it’s best to place your order as soon as you can.

2. Marks and Spencer Flowers

Marks and Spencer is another of my trusted spots for flower and plant delivery, largely because I’ve found them consistently reliable in terms of quality and on-time delivery. I trust them for clothes, food and furniture, and in my experience, their flowers and plants live up to that same standard. One thing that really sets M&S apart is that there’s no postage fee for flowers and gifts. That includes nominated day delivery, which you can select from as soon as the next day after ordering.

Some bouquets need to be ordered in advance, but the M&S website clearly shows when each arrangement is available for delivery if next-day delivery isn’t an option. If you’re in a rush, there’s even a dedicated section that rounds up all the bouquets and gift packages that can arrive the following day, which makes life much easier.

The delivery service also offers flower bundles paired with wine and other treats, turning a simple bouquet into a full-blown gift moment. You can add a personalised message too, so there’s no mistaking who the thoughtful surprise is from.

The final order date for Mother’s Day delivery is the day before, although only select bouquets will still be available by then. It’s always better to get ahead of the game and secure your ideal delivery date early, so no one’s left disappointed when March 15 rolls around.

3. Bloom and Wild

Bloom and Wild has become a firm favourite for bouquets and letterbox flowers in recent years. While there’s a luxury selection if you’re feeling splashy, there are also plenty of options for those keeping an eye on their budget. Some of the cheapest Mother’s Day flowers we’ve spotted start from £19, which is refreshingly reasonable.

According to Bloom & Wild, every stem is picked fresh and packed before blooming, so when the box is opened, you’re greeted with flowers just as they begin to blossom. It’s a lovely little moment. If you’re thinking longer-term, there’s also a dedicated section for dried, hand-tied flowers that will last for years rather than days.

You can add extras like vases and champagne to your order — though these do nudge the price up compared to bouquets alone. And if flowers aren’t quite right (or you want to include an additional treat), there’s a range of letterbox gifts to choose from too.

Royal Mail offers free next-day delivery between Monday and Saturday if you place your order before 10pm. So if you’re shopping for Mother’s Day, you’d ideally want to order by Friday to make sure it arrives on time. That said, if it were me, I’d probably get it sorted a little earlier — just to be absolutely sure everything lands exactly when it should.
