Whipping up some scrumptious sweet treats over the weekend is a joy, but not everyone has the luxury of time. For those in a rush, baking expert Eloise Head has come to the rescue with a « delicious » cookie recipe that takes just 10 minutes.

Eloise, the culinary sensation behind @fitwafflekitchen, is a cookbook author who regularly delights her 2.6 million followers with baking tips and recipes. Her latest quick-bake cookie revelation has garnered over 17,000 likes, proving a hit among her fans.

In her video, Eloise tantalises viewers by showcasing the finished cookies as she announces: « Here’s how to make mini choc chip cookies in just 10 minutes. »

She instructs her audience to mix unsalted melted butter with light brown sugar and granulated sugar until perfectly blended.

Next, she adds a large egg and vanilla essence into the mix, whisking them thoroughly.

The next step involves folding plain flour, bicarbonate of soda, and a pinch of salt into the mixture to create the dough.

Bakers are then guided to fold their chocolate chips into the dough.

Once everything is mixed well, Eloise advises grabbing « about a tablespoon » of dough, rolling it into a ball, placing it on a cookie sheet, and popping it into the oven « for around five minutes ».

After a brief cooling period, the cookies are ready to be enjoyed!

For those eager to try this at home, check out Eloise’s post for the complete list of ingredients and precise measurements.

Following up in the caption, she penned: « 10-MINUTE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES. 5-minutes to make, 5-minutes to bake (you can also bake them in the air fryer).

« If you adore cookies but can’t stand the wait, these nearly-instant treats are a must-try.

« They boast a delightful softness, thin yet chewy texture, with perfectly crisp edges – sheer cookie bliss. »

She passed on a nifty hint for fans keen on « thicker » cookies, writing: « Tip: If you would like them to be a little thicker, add an extra 30g of plain flour. You could also use softened butter instead of melted butter. »

Enthusiasts didn’t hesitate to respond, with one commenting: « Love this, » and another eager fan said: « Definitely trying these. »

A thrilled home baker who successfully followed her guide posted: « I’d never been able to make cookies, always came out wrong but used your recipe and they’re so good. Thank you! »
