Customers can now bag a Gtech cordless vacuum cleaner, touted to outperform its competitors, with a saving of £100. The Gtech AirRAM Platinum Anti Hair Wrap Cordless Vacuum is currently on offer for £269.99, down from £369.99, when using the discount code JT83, and it comes bundled with a Speed Clean Kit.

The discount and Speed Clean Kit are automatically added to the basket upon entering the code. Additionally, Gtech is slashing £120 off its ‘powerful’ Multi Platinum Cordless Handheld Vacuum, bringing the price down from £269.99 to £149.99. Gtech promotes the AirRAM Platinum as a device that ‘takes the work out of housework’, boasting easy manoeuvrability due to its dynamic steering and Forward Inertia Drive technology.

This same feature propels the vacuum forward, allowing it to glide smoothly across both carpet and hard floors. In competition with Shark and Dyson, Gtech has incorporated its own anti-hair wrap technology, preventing hair from tangling in the brush head, making it an ideal choice for pet owners.

The vacuum cleaner also offers a single suction setting for maximum power, eliminating the need to switch settings during cleaning. This is complemented by Gtech’s AirLOC technology, designed to remove stubborn embedded hair and fine dust that ‘no other vacuum can’.

Other notable features include LED headlights in the brushhead to highlight hidden dust and a durable battery that maintains suction for up to one hour, reports the Mirror.

The new AirRAM Platinum vacuum may have a 0.8L dustbin that’s smaller compared to some of its competitors, but its ability to compress the dirt means it doesn’t require frequent emptying. Thanks to the Speed Cleaning Kit and the detachable duster that comes along, this vacuum can be morphed into a handheld device, perfect for zipping through the stairs, upholstery, and crannies around your home with ease.

In contrast, Samsung’s answer to pet owners’ prayers, the Samsung Jet 85 Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner with a dedicated pet tool, is on the market at £479. With lots of handy accessories included, this particular model enjoys a commendable 4.5 out of five review rating.

Elsewhere, Miele is offering their Duoflex HX1 Cat and Dog at £329, a saving of £120 and boasting a 4.2-star accolade. But Gtech’s AirRAM Platinum leads the pack with soaring reviews, securing an impressive 4.8 stars from over 3,500 ratings.

One buyer said:  » It exceeds expectations in all areas, easily bettering our Shark vacuum. The [AirLOC] feature leaves the carpets pristine, and the design of the product means even edges get cleaned, which our previous Shark and Dyson couldn’t manage. Overall, the Gtech is fantastic. »

Another said: « Best cordless vacuum by far. Power is excellent at one-hour battery time while suction and pickup are amazing. I’m in a two-bedroom flat and have vacuumed almost daily for the last two weeks, and the battery hasn’t gone down. I find it a lot quieter than my three-year-old Gtech and it feels lighter to use. Storage is simple – it sits in a corner of my bedroom, ready for use. I love it. »

Another user, despite praising the AirRAM Platinum as a ‘good vacuum’, offered a less glowing four-star review: « Bit unpleasant to see the dust accumulating in the machine unlike our old AirRAM. »

Nevertheless, a different buyer was completely satisfied, describing it as « Fantastic, » adding: « Nice and compact for storage. Great suction with the [AirLOC] system, has fantastic power and gives an extremely thorough clean. Great for picking up small bits of fluff and long hair embedded in the carpet. Holds charge well. Extremely pleased, would always choose Gtech. »
