Despite inflation, many Americans expect to make up for lost trips this Independence Day weekend. Around 50.7 million Americans are projected to travel 50 or more miles from home this 4th of July weekend, according to a report by AAA. Just over half (51 percent) of small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) say they are struggling with hires and are concerned that the under-25s (Gen z) aren’t interested in working for them.
